• Miss Tia-Nicole, from the USA whose PhD dissertation seeks to question on how the ideas, orientations and suggested behaviors of HIV/AIDS health campaigns are assimilated by youth in the social and cultural contexts of local communities.


• Mphutlane wa Bofelo, an internationally renowned poet and workshop facilitator, also working on his PhD in the Developmental Studies at UKZN.

• Wandile Sibisi, a BA graduate from UKZN, an HIV activist, teacher and radio personality at one of the popular radio stations in KZN, GAGASIfm.
